Oban Sailing Club is delighted to announce the return of Monday Mayhem, our popular and inclusive weekly dinghy sailing sessions, kicking off on Monday 27th April with a special Boat Refresher Night followed by weekly events.
Designed for from seasoned racers to casual sailors who want to get on the water, Monday Mayhem is all about getting out on the water, building confidence, and enjoying getting on the water in a relaxed, safe and social environment. Whether you're looking to sharpen your skills ahead of the season, get back into sailing after some time away, or try it for the very first time, this is the perfect opportunity.
The opening evening on the 27th will focus on helping sailors get comfortable with the boats and the basics. Experienced members will be on hand to guide participants through rigging, boat handling, and safety, ensuring everyone feels ready and confident before heading afloat in the weeks to follow.
As the name suggests, Monday Mayhem brings a fun and informal twist to club sailing. Expect a mix of friendly racing, skill-building exercises, and plenty of laughs along the way. The emphasis is firmly on participation, learning, and enjoyment rather than competition.
