Adventure Oban and the RNLI Oban Lifeboat Station have partnered together with Oban Sailing Club to continue our series of Water Safety events. A huge part of what each represented organisation does relies on safety and we recognise our responsibility to make sure we make good, sensible and practical advice available to our community. So, the series of Water Safety meets run throughout the year, focussing on a number of specific sports/activities and are social in their nature – providing a space to learn and meet likeminded people.
Our Spring Meet focusses on paddle sports whilst also recapping what we’ve heard previously regarding open-water swimming. This event will involve talks and Q&A from the team at RNLI Oban Lifeboat as well as local experts from a number of represented paddle sports. If conditions allow on the night, we’ll head out for a short guided swim/paddle suitable for all levels.
