Racing

Dinghy racing takes place in Oban bAY every Thursday evening (start 1900 h) between April and October.  In addition there are occasional weekend  events and Oban Town Regatta.

Main dates

    Icicle Series: 30th of March, 6th of April and 13th of April 2008

    Oban Town Dinghy Regatta: 30th and 31st of August 2008

    Frostbite Series: 21st of September- 12th of October 2008

Training

Oban Sailing Club is an RYA approved dinghy training centre.  Dinghy training takes place on Monday evenings during the school summer term on the 6 Toppers that the club owns for teaching purposes.  Parents are invited to help, particularly with participating in rescue boat duties.
