Racing

Dinghy racing takes place in Oban Bay every Thursday evening (start 1900 h) between April and October.  In addition there are occasional weekend  events and Oban Town Regatta.

Main dates

    Icicle Series: 28th of March, 4th of April and 11th of April 2010

    Oban Town Dinghy Regatta: 14th and 15th of August 2010

    Frostbite Series: 5th of September- 10th of October 2010

Training

Oban Sailing Club is an RYA approved dinghy training centre.  Dinghy training takes place on Monday evenings during the school summer term on the 11 Toppers that the club owns for teaching purposes.  Parents are invited to help, particularly with participating in rescue boat duties.
