Cruisers ahoy!

The club endeavours to have fun days, or weekends out, for cruisers.  Such activities can be weather dependent, so please watch the club noticeboard and this website for information about any events.  We will also notify members by email.

The Rowan Cup

The Rowan Cup is awarded to the club member who writes the most interesting and informative log of the season taking into account the following:
• boat and crew
• experiences afloat and ashore
• seamanship
• distance under sail and power
• general presentation including maps and photographs
All members - including Associate, Junior and Non-sailing members - who participate in cruises, whether from Oban or further abroad, are encouraged to enter this competition, so increasing the body of up-to-date cruising experience in the Club. More than one log arising from the same cruise will be considered for the Cup, if submitted.
Entries must be in the hands of the Hon. Secretary by 28th February 2009.
